I began Yoga just a couple of years ago in 2007 looking for something different.  I was going through a crazy time in my life and needed to create a better work / life balance.  A friend told me to try yoga and having been physically active in sports, aerobics and weight training I was apprehensive - since flexibility wasn’t a strong suit of mine.  I finally researched and found Blissful Yoga and signed up for a package of classes and have not looked back.  I originally enjoyed the physical workout and community of wonderful individuals at Blissful Yoga but shortly realized the multitude of other benefits that I receive.  Each time I practice, I am amazed at the things my body is capable of and the ability to quiet my mind, follow my breath and allow for calmness to come over me.  After finishing my 200-hour teacher training through YogaWorks, I became so inspired and eager to pass on this energy to others.  I even have my husband and son seeing the benefits of regular practice!  I hope to make my classes challenging but mainly want everyone to smile, have fun and be accepting and proud of themselves no matter what level they are.
